Recently, Dr. Yan Zhang from the Department of Medical Imaging at our center was awarded the "Wiley China Open Science High Contributing Author" award for the second quarter of 2022. Dr. Zhang's paper The auto segmentation for cardiac structures using a dual-input deep learning network based on vision saliency and transformer, published as a corresponding author in the Journal of Applied Clinical Medicine in May this year, has attracted wide attention from scholars worldwide. The paper has been downloaded 465 times within three months after being published, ranking among the top five downloads in the second quarter of 2022 by Chinese authors of the journal.
According to corresponding author Yan Zhang, the paper describes the segmentation of individual structures of the heart based on cardiac CTA data by a deep learning method based on the dual-input Transformer architecture. It provides a new technique for cardiac CTA merging for preprocessing of cardiac function evaluation by training with small training data and achieving excellent fully automated segmentation results on the test dataset.
The award of "Wiley China Open Science High Contributing Author" not only marks the improvement of our center's clinical research innovation level, but also the breakthrough in the field of "psychiatry + cardiovascular". In the future, our center will continue to break through the framework of disciplines and take the road of new psychiatry discipline of "integration of medicine and science, medicine and industry, and medicine and literature", and strive for more innovative scientific research results.
Introduction of Medical Imaging Department:
At present, the center has set up the Functional Imaging Research Center, which has introduced equipment such as the ultra-high-end scientific research type 3.0T magnetic resonance of UNIFILM, 320 rows of high-end spiral CT, and the brain function scientific research platform, etc. It possesses a strong scientific research hardware foundation. Through cooperation with the West China Magnetic Resonance Research Center, the center is equipped with a sophisticated research system in brain function imaging and has already accumulated some research foundations and achievements in the field of psychiatric and psychological disorders.
